Katharine has been busy knitting again. This is her latest knitivity scene. The original knitivity was lost, so she has made this repacement, which displays the real message of Christmas - not shopping or presents or parties, but the everyday birth of a baby, but one that would change the world.
Wherever you are and whatever you are doing, have a lovely Christmas!
Awesome collection! Katharine, you are amazing! Looks fantastic and I echo your sentiments totally. I am currently cooking Christmas dinner in the kitchen and singing along to the radio. We eat in the evening! Have a super Christmas and sending lots of love. xxx
Wow, what an amazing nativity scene, so much work gone into each figure. Katharine is very talented!
Such a nice reminder of why we celebrate Christmas as sometimes it's easy to forget with all the commercialism.
I passed a poster on our church yesterday that read "Jesus - the reason for the season"
Merry Christmas and hope you're both having a lovely day, fav.
This is so beautiful and original. Katherine has done a really good job with all the figures in this scene. And, yes, this is what Christmas is all about. Fav.
Thank you all for your lovely comments and favs, they are very much appreciated.
I should have added in my notes that Katharine made this knitivity to replace an earlier one that was lost - but now the new one is complete, the original has been found!
Thank you Lizzy, I hope you had a Merry Christmas as well. Covid-19 restrictions meant that we were unable to see any of our family, but we were busy with phone calls and video calls. Perhaps the nicest thing was to hear our 3 year old grandaughter Tali sing Silent Night to us during a video call.
