Another Brave Effort by fishers

Another Brave Effort

Our Queen Elizabeth roses continue to produce buds, but so far non have bloomed properly. Wet weather and frost have conspired to prevent them from bursting into full flower. This one was very waterlogged following a prolonged period of rain. I have to admire their persistance in producing buds that fail. Roll on the spring and summer when these bushes can flower properly.

Rose is beautiful, but time is so strange that even plants have stress.

A very nice image. I have given up on mine, as most of the buds are withered and brown. I've done a light prune until the Spring.

Thank you all for your lovely comments and fav, they are very much appreciated.

Today has been another day of heavy rain, so I really don't have much hope for this rose bud to fully flower.
