Six days ago I posed a shot of a partly completed Christmas jigsaw. Well, Katharine has worked hard since then and here in the completed puzzle. I do like these traditional English village scenes. This reminds me of some of the pretty villages seen on tv in things like 'Midsomer Murders'.
Well done Katharine, jigsaws are a wonderful pastime.
I can definitely see a Midsomer Murders village scene in this photo.
Ian may be interested in this - recently he posted a photo of the village of Ewelme. I recall one of the scenes in a Midsomer episode was filmed in Ewelme and others were in Wallingford too.
Thank you all for your lovely comments and fav, they are very much appreciated.
Katharine has worked hard at this, and has enjoyed completing it. Now, it has been dismantled and is back in it's box ready for next time - our oldest grandaughter is a big jigsaw fan, so she might want to tackle it.
Babs, we visited a lot of Midsomer villages on the western side of the Chiltern Hills while Louise and her family were at Benson - Ewelme, Wallingford, Dorchester on Thames, Warborough and Brightwell Baldwin amongst others. Later they lived near High Wycombe and there were a whole load more Midsomer villages near there that we visited on the eastern side of the Chiltern Hills. There is an interesting website that lists and illustrates many of the villages used - http://www.midsomermurders.org
Funnily enough, we just turned afternoon tv on and the Midsomer Murders episode 'Beyond the Grave' which features Ewelme is just starting!

Fortunately, we were both safe and well during the making of this puzzle!
