Snow Day

Or at least a snow half day. We woke up yesterday morning to a thin carpet of snow, with a light fall of snow continuing. Later in the morning the snow turned to rain and the temperature rose a bit so the snow quickly started to clear after lunch. By this morning there was none left.

Places to the west of us had considerably more snow, with serious effects on transport links and with Covid-19 vaccination centres closed in some places.

Our grey snowy day has been replaced by a grey wet day today, but it seems the snow could be back after the weekend and might be covering more of the country next time.
