A rather more traditional sales display in a shop window in the Shambles. It is interesting to see the variety of Christmas displays around York city centre, from the strange and bizarre at one extreme, to this extremely traditional display at the opposite extreme. For me this is a clear winner!
Beautiful display. It is so lovely to walk round the town (or city) to just enjoy the festive lights and displays. For many Covid has taken the joy of enjoying Christmas outside the security of one's house.

There is something magical and special about some of the Christmas window displays, and I really loved this one. I think the Father Christmas is in hiding in the shade trying to get a rest and avoid the masses of children seeking him this time of year!
