"we live with the scars we choose"
I hear that saying a lot, on the internet, from people.
As a person, I've always found it easier to be compassionate towards others than towards myself.
I find it difficult to like myself and forgive myself for past and present mistakes/wrongdoings.
I live with scars.
We all have them, physical or emotional or both.
So here's to loving oneself;
to moving forward;
to trying to be better in every facet of one's life;
to being happy;
for all those out there who have ever felt unsure about their own love for themselves.
You can have some of my love,
I have plenty to give;
I'm only now just figuring out how.
This works at so many levels
