Kali this is amazing. I love the image but your words resonate with me (changes needed!). I love spiders; we do not hurt them in my house, we put them outside (or in the basement in the winter!). :)

I quite like spiders so this image is intriguing and very clever with the 8-legged double selfie. Here's a verse from one of my spider poems:

Arachnid, with hydraulic limbs
you weave and spin
your sticky silks that
capture jewels of
dewy night;
then dry invisible again.
