The Three Fates by fiveplustwo

The Three Fates

In Ancient Greek mythology,
The Fates determined the destiny of mortal lives,
Appearing at the birth of each entity.

Clotho, the spinner, spun the thread of one’s fate;
Lachesis, the apportioner, dispensed it – measuring length of life;
Atropos, the inevitable, cut the thread to send one to the Underworld.

May your thread be strong and long...

Theme: fate.

Clever composition. I just read a book about the Fates - very intriguing and this looks a bit like I imagined those characters.

I wonder if Atropos is open to persuasion...... or even bribery......... Or failing that maybe I'll just steal her scissors. :)

Great shot. Love it.

@summerfield I'm terrible in catching up - I just wanted to say wow! I'm sorry I took this in advance - but I am grateful you switched as I had nothing else for this hard theme :) :) and thank you, dear Vikki :)
