Derangement

In combinatorial mathematics, a derangement is a permutation of the elements of a set, such that no element appears in its original position.

I am going to have to take your word for it on that. Some great illustrative poses though.

the point of view, the shadows, the concept, all brilliant, who needs to understand that gobbledegook?

not sure any of us need too much trouble to become deranged.

I love the shadows and the mini-me's running around struggling with the symbols! Too much fun!

@clearday thank you!
@helenhall me too! Lol, this is what I call serendipity; I had taken these fiv poses and was googling “mathematical functions with five elements,” and I stumbled in that “derangement” expression and definition. And I found it so very fitting for myself I couldn’t resist!
@kali66 oh thank you so much, Kali. The expression is a total puzzle for me, too. Only the definition I understand and... well, it’s me!
@francoise hahaha, not me certainly!
@wenbow thank you so much, Wendy!
@mikegifford thank you, Mike!
