all the people that i've held dear have now left me. my mother died when i was twenty-one and she was and still is the one person i love most in the world. the first mr. summerfield died when i was thirty, while the second mr. summerfield died when i was forty. nobody had been able to measure up since.
i still have my siblings and my grandchildren but living so far away the communications are seldom yet mostly meaningful.
