My cousin has waited a long time, and been through so much, for another child. She is the bravest mum I know having lost two babies, one of them being Jack's twin. I'm so honoured to have been asked to be his godmother. Hopefully, in a couple of weeks, there will be a knitted cardigan for him to wear this winter.
Oh I can just see the finished result with that lovely blue and the wooden buttons. Jack will look great. Congratulations on being a godmother, I am sure that will have been a wise choice by your cousin. Good wishes to the family.

I recognise that wool...... I knitted (a few months ago).... my friends 1st grandchild a little cardigan in that colour..... it was lovely to use.

@dizzyd Yes, it's knitting up nicely Helen. I haven't done any knitting for years and I'm really having to concentrate as it's an Aran pattern! It's looking good though.
