Richly spiced plum chutney by flowerfairyann

Richly spiced plum chutney

One of my jobs for today. Annoyed I managed to cut a bit of the teaspoon off but the chutney is in the jars and smells good.

Thank you for all your lovely comments on the lantern yesterday. It was so windy, at one point I had to hang on to it to steady myself. And no, under no circumstances will I ever be climbing the ladder!
Looks like that is going to be delicious. Lovely photograph. I love pictures of fresh produce, it always makes me want to cook!

I wouldn't have notice the teaspoon - it is a delightful arrangement. In fact I just spent some seconds wondering how on earth you could cut a teaspoon while making chutney, and whether the bit you cut off was now in one of the jars!

@helenhall I've re-read it and can see why you were confused - sorry. No spoons were harmed in the making of the chutney though.

@flowerfairyann there isn't anything wrong with the description, it is just that I straight away thought you were talking about the making of your chutney rather than your photo when you said you cut a bit of the teaspoon off.
