Wood anenome by flowerfairyann

Wood anenome

It was pretty squelchy getting to Little Wood but well worth it. Nobody goes there and it's totally unspoilt and natural. There were lots of pretty primroses, purple violets and wood anenomes. I also saw the first cowslips and heard a very persistent woodpecker across the field.
No raindrops?

Sounds delightful Ann. A well spent Saturday and this is a beautiful wood anemone.

Beautiful. The cowslips seem to be really enjoying this weather. They are doing really well here this year. Fav

Oh that's lovely! I tried to take some shots of the ones growing locally today but they weren't quite open yet. They are so beautifully delicate aren't they!
