On the left is a fruit tree ladder. It's very long with spikes at the wider end, narrowing towards the other end which would rest high in the tree. I can't fit the whole of it in the photo and, because of it's length, it's stored in the cowshed. It hasn't been used in years, probably not since my father used to pick fruit 40 odd years ago. Best on black.
