My alliums are starting to flower and enjoying the sunshine today. Lots of gardening ~ it's been a lovely weekend.

I like that we get a little suggestion of the rest of the garden in this shot. It places the main subject in context, rather than the often seen pretty flower highlighted alone against a blur of soft focus background (which can be very striking).
