Apart from cropping this is as taken - in colour believe it or not. Rain, rain and more rain mostly over the last 24 hours but the rooks and their extended family seem unaffected, swirling in the wind and squawking. They are fascinating birds to watch. On Sunday two chased a buzzard into a rook ambush. They seem to be the only birds to take them on, dive bombing them away.
More rain forecast. Come on summer - it's time to show yourself.
Lovely silhouette. We had rain at the beginning of June but the sun has been shining for a few days now and pretty warm for winter. Loving the sunshine again.
