Happy St Davids Day Ann. I forgot to celebrate with daffodils, nor leeks on the menu and though we regularly buy welsh cakes for father in law, we forgot to get some for ourselves either. So no marks for me. Perhaps you could send one over - I think these are going to be delicious.

@busylady They are cooked on a hot plate or pan Judith and don't rise. Best eaten immediately or the same day and usually covered with caster sugar. My mum made the best ones and I've never been able to match her's.
