At school today the children have been finding out which is the favourite habitat for woodlice and this afternoon, checking out the creatures in the pond. The newts went into hiding but we saw giant pond snails, pond skaters, damsel flies, watermidges and phantom midges. It was very peaceful there before start of school this morning.
