The story of my life with bird photography. This kookaburra landed above my head while I was on the phone, laughed at me and flew off. I was so disappointed I didn't get the beak in this shot, but loved the tail feathers in the light

I have a few birds that do this to me too!! One is a large Wood Pecker!!! I should take all the "parts" I have gotten from all the photos and make ONE photo out of them! LOL LOL I love the wing span and the tail feathers are beautiful in the light!! FAV!
