@terryliv@bill_fe Thank you. This was taken with my 'old' Canon 600D and lens as I wouldn't take my new camera and lens in the kayak - too expensive and too heavy to manage on the water. I use a waterproof bag while moving and take my camera out very carefully when I want to get shots
@flyrobin Thanks. I've got a Pelican case for my DSLR, but I'm too paranoid to use the camera on the water. I soaked my first digital camera while kayaking. Now I have a point & shoot canon that I bought specifically for kayaking because I have a waterproof case designed for the camera that allows me to use all the functions. I leave my DSLR on land, or in a dry bag if I'm going to be overnight camping / kayaking.
@bill_fe I took a point and shoot out in the kayak until last week, but was getting so frustrated at the lack of speed. So the new camera was a great excuse to take the old one out
