Box elders can spread far enough their limbs need to be supported or they'll break off. You can see 2 steel support poles in the upper left.
Of all the supported trees in the park, this is the only Box elder. It's also the only one with the steel cradles covered by wooden boxes. I think someone did that to make a visual pun.
