The Royal Palace at Caserta

This Palace ( Unesco World Heritage Site ) was commissioned by the the Bourbon King Charles 111 in the 18th century. It has 1,200 rooms, 45 staircases and is one of the largest if not the largest in the world. The grounds behind the palace are lovely but the ones on the roadside are overgrown. The National Trust would be horrified!
Caserta is in Italy not far from Naples.
