Yes, a helter skelter in Norwich Cathedral! A summer holiday gimmick! Looks totally incongruous but I think it’s a way of enticing visitors. Norwich Cathedral has some amazing bosses on the ceiling which are not easy to see. From the top of the helter skelter you apparently have a wonderful view of them.
Whilst I can understand this may bring a few new people into the cathedral, my personal view is it is HIDEOUS!!! I hope it goes as soon as the holidays are over.
