We thought we should take advantage of the fantastic weather so we walked around Wicken Fen. It’s amazing how many cuckoos we’ve heard this year and yesterday was no exception. We saw lapwings, reed warblers, marsh harriers, Konik ponies and very few people. Delightful!
Four beautiful images. I remember going to Wicken Fen, it’s lovely. It’s good you’ve heard several cuckoos, I haven’t heard one since we left Wales and came to live in Herefordshire. I miss them.
