I put the rowan tree on at the end of June before the berries had ripened. Lovely to see them in their bright orange state.

Just been round next door to a neighbour’s 80th birthday party. I was keen to photograph his plums which are hanging just by our hedge. They look very alluring.

These are our grandsons. If you look at the picture on the wall behind them, you can see them with Roger, my husband, when they were very little.

We went round to our elder son’s for a BBQ on Tuesday evening. This is Chris, our younger son helping out. Our grandsons are thoroughly enjoying it.

Mozzarella’s eggs which were freshly laid yesterday were absolutely delicious. We all had one for breakfast. Ed enjoyed his fried later.

Ed and son Chris have just arrived for a visit. They have brought some of Mozzarella’s freshly laid eggs which we plan to sample tomorrow morning for breakfast.🍳

Our local museum has just held a very successful 1940s day. We had fantastic weather and everyone threw themselves into it.

We often pop into Marks and Spencer for lunch or a snack when we’re in town. The quality of the food is excellent.
