Thanks to everybody who comments on or favourites my photos. I appreciate constructive criticism and am always looking for ways to improve, and I will look at all your photos and try to comment in turn.
I won my first camera in a painting competition when I was 10, it was a box brownie and each film took 8 black and white prints. I have been snapping away ever since but in the last few years approaching and now into retirement I have started dedicating serious time to developing photography into a long term hobby. My partner and I have 3 dogs, two rescue greyhounds and a Scottish Deerhound, so we are out walking every day and as a consequence a lot of my photography is done a short distance from home. I like macro photography, unusual shapes and colours and am trying to improve my landscapes, which has been a little difficult during lockdown!
