BoB. No power all night. I usually get up in the dark, drink coffee and write. This stove was burning (and Joe had the wood stove burning down in the basement), so not only were we not freezing, there was light by which to drink coffee and write. I thought. OK! It's not too late to join the 52 week challenge, first task of which was to do a self-portrait.

We also heat by a woodstove and find it is the very best heat to have. And so good when the power goes out!
Nice self portrait. From the little I've read and the photos I've seen this seems very apropos. Glad you are warm and dry. I saw on the news you guys had quite a storm.
