Sometimes one's piles of things to do grow, not oneself. I can pick many faults with the execution of this picture, not the least being that climbing on the dining room table is simply not done in well-regulated households. However, getting a reasonably accurate angle for the self portrait meant putting the camera close to the ceiling, so I had to climb up there to aim it properly.
For the 52 portraits of me challenge, this week's theme being "growth."
I get the impression that on your list of things to do, a visit to the library could be a good idea. As one stuck with an ever increasing pile of things to do, and am most of the time shrinking from it rather than standing up to it, I love the concept of this growth self portrait. You have put it together very well, and if climbing on the table was needed - then in the name of art, it is excusable.
for composition and execution alone, you get "aces!" and a fav from me. very clever, very creative and original, as far as 365 goes as i don't think I've seen anything like this around here. aces!
