patience by francoise

patience

It occurred to me that virtues were sacred, We , revere them,. not as deities, but rather as inviolable principles that are, well, just plain good. Maybe I could call them characteristics rather than principles? One of the virtues is without doubt, the ability to wait without emotional upset when the situation calls for waiting.
Love this scene.

I had to look up virtue... "A virtue is a trait or quality that is deemed to be morally good and thus is valued as a foundation of principle and good moral being" All true as you say!

I have often heard it said that Patience is a virtue which seems to fit into your definition perfectly! I love the diagonal composition of this photo and the simplicity of the subject!

A moral compass goes hand-in-hand with a virtuous way of life or character. Great capture with a neat pov to see the red chairs...

I love the serenity of this photo.

Patience is a skill that I recognize is lacking in me and have worked on acquiring this skill ever since.
