wood flower by francoise

wood flower

yes the black velvet suggestion (Rita) worked to absorb more light. I know that if I picked this little flower, it would faint away before I got home. Shamelessly cropped (flower is very small and I was as close as lens can focus).
This has worked beautifully. Lovely detail

Beautiful Francoise, the detail is great if you have cropped so much. I think it is a wood anemone. In the UK we find the bluebells follow them in the woods and they are gorgeous too; this is a fabulous season for wild flowers.
