Clump by francoise

Clump

Taken as part of get-pushed challenge from Monique "I think I would like to see you take the natural beauty that surrounds you and show us it's less pretty side." An almost impossible challenge as everything I looked at, decaying, dead, muddy, or other, did not look ugly.
Happy 85: lovely day; coffee and dog-walking with Maia; a bit of baking, a lot of reading...paper for class finished early in day..., grocery shopping and not back to work until tomorrow.
I am also tagging this as a forest friend since Joe insists that there is a lion here.

You did well with the challenge.

Perfect! That's exactly what I wanted to see. And to see it in its natural habitat, see it in the big picture, it would be ugly. But this, this @francoise is beautiful! Wonderful work! *fave*

Joe is absolutely right.. I spotted it straightaway and immediately thought of it as celestial lion.

Great shot, textures

I see the lion! And I would find myself in the same position as you since I too think there is a lot of beauty in decay etc. Good shot!

Joe and everyone must be "lion" to you. Haha. Sadly, my eye see no lion. But I do see a poodle!! Super fun shot! :D

I was going to say a werid dog but Joe is right! A terrific forest lion!

Well done. Beautiful soft color.

Looks rather alien -- like something from a movie that might be called The Blob if there weren't already a creature called The Blob.

Sorry I still think it beautiful, I too can find little in woodlands that I can not find beauty in. A tough challenge

Very cool- because it let us see what we wanted to make out of the clump. I see the lion too.
