newsmen gave warning... Went down to the river since I got to work at dawn and saw a bit of red light. I took a number of pictures but didn't really pay close enough attention to the fact that the reds were intensifying, because when I was talking to an early bird colleague in the office, we looked up to see an unbelievable orange color. So far we have about 5 inches, but the snow is supposed to intensify and continue for about 24 hours. We'll see.
Happy 88: Was able to leave work at noon and got home just when the flakes started, so didn't have to be on the road in the snow... plus I still had time to walk with Lucy for an hour without wading through snow.
