For get-pushed challenge from Salt Water Woman @swwoman to photograph "City Streets at Night"... I had a late meeting on Thursday, so was in (small) town where I work after dark. Finally had the idea to convert some of these to black and white ... they looked much better somehow.
@swwoman Here are three more (on 12th, 13th and 14th). This was a really fun challenge, a kind of photographing that I never do! I was quite happier when I converted them to b&w, which made the scenes less confusing somehow. I especially enjoyed photographing the people; it was somehow less intimidating than photographing people during the day.
- I like the simplification when in b&w - one of my favorite features of my cell phone camera is the option to see the image without color in the viewfinder - I'm looking for a new digital camera with this feature -
