Perambulatory 8

It was a long walk, so I thought of many things, this time a bit self-consciously since I knew that my task was "to have a thought" that I could write in my project... I tried listening to all the sounds and found that I could give each my attention in rotation: the dog breathing, my footsteps on the pavement, the distant cars, the bird song, the August insect hum. But I couldn't listen to them all together at the same time like a symphony, just one at a time. Eventually, I lost my self-consciousness and found myself writing the next chapter in my novel. Yes I've started. No I'm not interested in quality or success, just word count and finishing. (And no, no one can read it until it's done. Decision Made!)
Beautifully delicate find and a terrific shot of it! Good for you to start the next chapter

How interesting you are writing a novel -- I'm really behind! I like the way you've framed and focused in this image.

Beautiful photo to go with your photo. Diana Gabaldon said her Outlander novels were just for practice - so write on!!

Congrats on writing a novel. that is on my bucket list as well - but I never seem to have enough time and I am not willing to give up 365 to do that.
It's a matter of choices ...
