Although this picture is meant to sum up a LONG dark road, it was not taken while we were actually driving 650 miles overnight to make a visa-fetching trip that turned out to be unnecessary (and fruitless), the result of talking to the wrong person. "Oh, you must have talked to Rohan" will no doubt become a family trope. I guess my main thought during the long drive was, "wow, you actually have stamina when stamina is required!" I also thought that I should do something nice for my car when I returned, something to thank it and acknowledge its willingness to undertake a crazy trip with no notice and not a single word of complaint. Maybe a nice oil change.
