I was given a most fascinating challenge: what would I give up for Lent were I to give sonething up? Thinking of the what was easy, since I had considered giving up the weekly sausage rolls that I eat on nights the choir practices. There is a sort of "alas, I am weak indeed" quality to the fact that I am eating one tonight.
