The onions ready to be poked into the ground reminded me of a flag. Sort of. Yes, they're pretty close; I'll end up pulling about half of them up to eat as green onions, then another third or so to eat as big green onions. The rest can grow to full size. Yummy! that is a lot of onions but I can tell you have put a lotof thought into their planting! I like the color pattern!

I planted some red onions with my 4 year old granddaughter this week, two hours later she was desperate to take her daddy out to see if they had grown yet! The variety you have here is fab!

Do you get more that one onion from one that's planted? I've never seen onions being planted.
