Hey Frances! What an amazing photo and about 6 or 7 photos ago I took a photo of this exact same type of spider!! They are just a common Garden Spider and great to have in your garden, but I sure don't want one in my house. If a spider is in my house he dies with a quick smack!!! Your details are just amazing and this is a female!! The males look totally different! She's got a nice butt on her! LOL Fantastic lighting and composition too! Instant FAV!
