Have you ever tasted a "grattachecca"???

A peddler of "grattachecche" on Ladispoli beach, along the roman coast...
"Grattachecca" is the roman dialect term used for indicate slush...
I have to confess that I have never found the courage to taste one of it! ;)

Thank so much for your lovely comments! My daughter and I spent a wonderful day on the beach playing with the sand and having a long bath, despite the cold water... To be sincere i have never tasted a grattachecca made on the beach cause those carts are very folkloristic, but not recommended for their hygienic condition! ;)
