Indeed. I walked the streets of Italy viewing flowers, but it's just not the same as sitting under the sakura, celebrating the season with friends and food and contemplation. Your image reflects the sensibility well.
@caterina -- To me, it seemed Italians appreciated the blooming flowers fleetingly -- while walking under the trees, walking past the trees, but not sitting under them for hours with friends! But perhaps that happens at a time I didn't see . . .
