Just back from a walk with friend Ellie who has shown me a new and gnarly wood in Leeds. Lots of interest. Twisted oak trees, an old POW camp and this passage through called the cutting. It was built in 1856 to allow passage from Apperley Bridge to Calverley but apparently wasn't popular. I can see why, its quite spooky. Very happy to have found a new feral wood. Just need some fog...
Cool to be finding new places still. I keep thinking I’ll work my way round more colleges now that I don’t have a dog in tow (sob) - they may open again in 2022....
