Lone tree at Conistone Dib by fueast

Lone tree at Conistone Dib

The hawthorns were looking beautiful in the Dales, still with blossom which was surprising. I love it when they lean because of the wind. Found this one in Conistone Dib which is an old limestone river bed out of the valley and up to the tops.
Filling in some gaps from the trip. Hope to catch up a bit later.
I love a hawthorn. They are just so flexible. Super capture.

Love the leading line with the rock fence.

I like the way the foreground tree takes you to the dead one and then to the one in the distance

Nice convergence of the rock wall and the tree.
