It is February and it is often cold, dull and miserable here in the UK. Yesterday was warm and sunny, so the grass was cut for the first time this year. The ornamental cherry and silver birch were trimmed by tree surgeons earlier last month. It is hard to believe meteorological spring (March 1st) is this Friday.
