On a very cold new year's day a lone swimmer is visible under the rays of sunlight from the double curtain which provided a beautiful backdrop for our walk. As the year starts, this sky is perhaps a symbol of hope in our fight against Covid-19 as the vaccination programme competes with the new contagious strain of the virus.
