Lines of Ink

I was waiting for my kids to come out of the pizza shop - parked in my car on the opposite side of the road. Jonathan started walking towards me, and I snapped this shot of him in front of the tattoo shop. I saw some potential in the image.... what do you think? *HIGHLY Edited on my mobile phone with Snapseed*

Oh this is a coool edit and shot. I liked to see the before, too. Isn't editing amazing, the things you can do. How you can totally change the feel of a shot! Fav!

Thank you so much for sharing the before and after. I think your shots are amazing and often wonder how you manage some of them. I just don't get time to learn how to use my photoshop elements even though I have had it 3 months. I just fiddle slightly in Picasa but proper processing seems to be a whole new art.

Wow, quite a transformation!

Great processing (especially after having seen the original). Now it looks like the painted person is the shadow of your son. I like the film noir touch of this picture.

@hjv @danette @marmaladeskyes @vignouse @swilde @jannyography @leananiemand @jamibann thank you all very much - I loved how this one turned out, and bonus that SNAPSEED is a free app for the mobile phone - lots of fun, that's for sure.

@macromover Jan, most of mine is trial and error... but you're right, you do need time to sit and be able to play around. thanks so much for taking the time to leave the comment.
