I have one that bullies my cats and steals their food, but it's been evading my attempts to photograph it. So I'm doubly impressed with this one. :-)
Well shot, great contrast of the perfect white and perfect black! Keeping watch like he's a bodyguard. It's a more elegant version than we have in Holland, including some blue and a longer tail. And I always hope the skip our garden.
@fluidsculpture Sorry for not replying sooner been run off my feet with University. I do love magpies but wow they bully your cat. That's aggressive. I'm lucky they treat me and my pets with kindness.
@ludwigsdiana I don't find magpies or crows nasty. There used to be a group of crows or should I say a murder of crows at my work and we would chat every day. In fact the crow is my favourite bird and have found them to be quite sweet. Though I know most people don't trust or like them 😀
