It's Back!

Stopped at Lake George and was stunned to see so much water was in it. The lake is like a giant sink and has no rivers flow in or out of it. In 2002 it dried up due to drought but started filling again almost a decade later. It’s about three quarters full now. If you look closely at the water you can see a line of fence posts sticking out . This would have marked one of the paddocks used for grazing when it was a dry lake.
What an amazing sight and capture, hard to believe that a part was a paddock before.

@ludwigsdiana I love this lake. I've seen it full and dry over the years. I was told as a child when it empties another fills somewhere in the world like New Zealand or Scotland LOL. So not true obviously but it does seem a bit magical.

@djepie It's both a beautiful spot and very mystical. I love the wildness of it. Its quite shallow over all; maybe averaging around 1-1.5 metres. The fences in the paddocks become hazards though once they are fully submerged, so a bit dangerous.
