Peacock, Tortoiseshell & Buddleia.

My neighbour has a Buddleia shrub in his garden, and today I counted 8 butterflies and 6 bees on it. If you want butterflies in your garden get a buddleia!

We had a buddleia and it went all straggly! But my parents had them when we lived in West Wittering and the butterflies flocked to them (before farming insecticides of course!). This is a really beautiful image, Lee, very sharp (so important to start with a sharp image!) love the sepia, selective colour, so well crafted - fav!
