Seed Pod. by gamelee

Seed Pod.

Nature never ceases to amaze me with its intricacies. About the size of a cherry tomato this seed pod was building itself up to going with a pop!
Fantastic! What is it the seed pod to?

Thank you for the great comment, It is appreciated.

@shepherdmanswife - It was from a box of mixed seeds and I didn't know what it was, but after searching on the net for images of the flowers the box list it contains. I can tell you it is - Nigella damascena (love-in-a-mist). Would of made a good title, Thanks for the fave.

Love-in - a -mist is my favourite flower, as a little girl I sat in the garden at my grandmothers picking apart the seed pods and planting each seed one by one, and religiously watering my little seedlings. Her garden has been a sea of them ever since! Thank you for making me smile with such a striking picture :)
