1,320 ft long, and 104 ft above the valley floor at its highest point, one thousand navvies built the viaduct, and around one hundred navvies were killed during its construction.
The first stone was laid on 12 October 1870 and the last in 1874.
You've got a great angle on the viaduct, Lee. It's very long, I know, so I guess it's not easy to get it in all its glory, even with a wide angle lens. Impressive capture, great depth too.
